Filter pair for the Elite series HI and the Style series UCE

For simplicity, only the main characteristics of the filters are described here. But some of them have more than one property.

First filters for the Eco series TY and the Classic series MMP

ABF carbonite® Block filter extract the water from ingredients such as heavy metals, asbestos, drug residues, bacteria and pesticides without filtering minerals such as calcium and magnesium. In addition, the activated charcoal removes unwanted odors and flavors and neutralizes chlorine added by waterworks as a disinfectant.

ABF carbonite®-filters work without chemicals and only with the help of the water pressure from your water supply. Carbonite filters are made from the carbon-rich shell of coconuts. The shells are carbonized under air and refined by a unique, internationally patented process. The black powder is then baked in ovens at high temperatures and pressed as a cartridge. The filters are manufactured in Germany by carbonite®.

ACF Activated carbon block filter -Contrary to conventional active carbon filters, the ACF active charcoal filters consist of compact, space-saving activated carbon blocks in the form of hollow cylinders. The tap water to be cleaned flows under pressure to the outside of the cylinder. During the passage, it is cleaned by the activated charcoal and finally discharged as a filtrate via the cavity inside the cartridge. Only non-recycled activated carbon is used.

ACF Activated carbon filter -Due to its highly porous nature, the activated charcoal has a large “specific surface area” (300-2000 m2 / g) and this is the reason for its large absorption capacity. By “absorption” of pollutants, (physical or chemical adhesion of molecules on a solid surface), the active charcoal is able to remove various substances in the natural way. The activated charcoal binds microorganisms which can not get out of the filter unit even under mechanical stress, for example by water (also called “chromatography effect”, ie the release of previously absorbed pollutants back to the water). This ACF activated carbon filter is approved “NSF-42” and not silver-vaporized. Only non-recycled activated carbon is used.

Second filters for the Eco series TY and the Classic series MMP

In ultrafiltration with a UF membrane filter, the water is pressed with the house line pressure through small plastic tubes. The fine pores, 0.01-0.1μm, are used as filters. For comparison: A human hair has a diameter of approx. 50μm – this is 5000 times more.0.1 μm correspond to 0.0001 mm. The great advantage of ultrafiltration compared to conventional filter methods is the freedom from germination of the filtered water. The pores of the UF membranes are so tiny that bacteria and even viruses are too large to pass through the UF membrane. By bundling many such filter tubes into a filter module, the necessary area is created in order to allow a sufficient water flow for a water ionizer.

All EM-ceramicsare fermented for at least 6 months in a special manufacturing process with the help of microorganisms (Lactobacillus, yeast and photosynthetic bacteria – and a number of high-quality organic substances) and then formed with a valuable clay into a plastic mass and fired at a temperature of up to 1300 ° C. The clay contains organic material which originates from plants and has formed in the conversion process which took place before millennia together with primeval microbial enzymes. The combination of effective microorganisms and high-quality clays has resulted in a combination which is particularly effective. This ceramic gives the water a higher emulsifying and dispersing capacity and a better overall solubility with other substances. Since it is an anionic ceramic, the water becomes slightly alkaline. It neutralizes oxidized (acidic) components in the water and eliminates bad taste and odor of water.

Mineral filter (Alkali Filter) -Sometimes supply water works very low mineral water, for example such water often comes from dams or reservoirs. This water is extremely soft and has very low degrees of hardness. In order to ensure adequate mineralization of the water for a satisfactory ionization in the electrolyte chamber of the water ionizer, we recommend using this mineral filter (alkaline filter). The alkali filter enriches the water during the flow with minerals and thus ensures a re-mineralization of the tap water.
