Possible uses of a water ionizer in everyday life
A water ionizer can be used to produce alkaline and acidic water. Only the alkaline and neutral water is meant for regular drinking. Although in some cases drinking acidic water to cure stomach pain can work as well. Coca Cola is more acidic than the water that can be produced by our machines.
Primarily you buy a water ionizer because it can produce clean, for the body soothing and exceptionally good tasting alkaline water to drink. But there are a number of other useful applications in daily use.
Alkaline water
- Water for hot drinks (Coffee and tea lose the bitter taste.)
- Water for cooking soups, etc.
- • Soake meat (20 – 30 min.) in alkaline water and it loses the fatty taste
- Bitter salads and vegetables soaked (20 – 30 min. ) lose their possibly bitter taste.
- • To prepare good-tasting rice (contained phosphorus is neutralized by the ionized calcium) First, wash the rice with acidic water. Then pour rice in alkaline water for 30 to 60 minutes. Then cook rice in alkaline water.
- To bring flowers to bloom quickly. In humans and animals aging is slowed down, the contrary happens to flowers, because they separate oxygen as a “slag product”.
- Fruit juices (concentrates), stretched with alkaline water, lower the fruit acid.
- Whisky mixed 1:1 with alkaline water and is supposed to protect from a hangover.
- Bamboo shoots, waterbrooks and brown seaweed cooked with alkaline water loose their stinging taste and their unique flavor remains intact
- In particular, no unpleasant fish odor occurs when alkaline water is used when cooking fish.
- Dogs with canine distemper get better after drinking. Alkaline water has a positive effect on infectious diseases (caries fever), which can occur especially in puppies. Their fur looks more beautiful and growth of animals is improved.
- Furthermore, the egg laying rate is raised in chickens by drinking alkaline water. Chicken meat tastes normally better, because alkaline water reduces fat growth.
Acidic Water
- House plants love sour water (1/3 sour, 2/3 neutral is recommended).
- Cut flowers last longer in acidic water.
- Sprayed on stalk and leaves acidic water protects against flower pests.
- Wash vegetables and fruit with acidic water to maintain the freshness over a longer storage period
- Acidic water protects the natural skin protection layer as it is acidic (pH 5.5)
- If a few liters of acidic water are poured into the bathtub, the skin will dry out less.
- Hair remains soft after rinsing with acidic water.
- Washing the face rinses the skin better from sweat and feels very refreshing.
- Warm acidic Water for 20min. applied helps in athlete’s foot and haemorroids.
- Relieves the pain of mosquito stings and burns.
- Can be used as mouthwash or after shave.
- • Acidic water has excellent blood stilling properties and after wound disinfection it causes quick healing. Therefore, good results are obtained when cuttings and / or burns are directly dabbed with acidic water or an envelope is made with it.
- • Sore throat or cough with acidic water.
- In case of gum inflammation facilitated by massage with acidic water.
